McKenney's is offering a Co-op position in Atlanta within our Logistics and Manufacturing teams. You will participate from day one, receive training, and work on projects that impact our operations and efficiency.

Successful Co-ops will learn contract negotiation with subcontractors, research supply chain alternatives, and perform data analytics to identify trends. Top performers may lead a process-improvement project under the Logistics Manager guidance.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited school majoring in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Construction Management, or related degree.
• Complete at least two full-time rotations before graduation and manage course load accordingly.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and detail focused.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a team environment under guidance of Logistics and Manufacturing leaders.
• Support Project Managers and Foremen in procurement and delivery strategies for timely movement of materials.
• Work with Shop Superintendents to apply LEAN to reduce waste.
• Leverage data to identify trends, inform decisions, and prioritize improvement initiatives across logistics.
• Communicate across all levels to drive buy-in and align stakeholders.

Overview

As a Co-op, you will be part of the team from day one and given training and tasks that are important and impactfulto our projects' success. Success in this role depends on the Co-op’s initiative and teamwork skills. A successful Co-op will learn how tonegotiate contracts with subcontractors, research supply chain alternatives, and perform data analytics to analyzetrends. Top achieving Co-ops will have the opportunity to manage a new process improvement project from ideageneration to final implementation under the guidance of the Logistics Manager. McKenney's has a long history of success in hiring Co-ops and supporting their evolution into industry leaders. Many of our current senior leaders began their journey in the Co-op program.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a team environment under the guidance of leaders in the Logistics and Manufacturing Groups.
• Support Project Managers and Foremen in developing innovative procurement and delivery strategies, ensuringtimely and accurate movement of materials from shops, vendors, and warehouses to job sites.
• Work with our Shop Superintendents to understand current processes and identify and minimize waste byapplying LEAN principles.
• Leverage historical and real-time data to identify trends, inform decision-making, and prioritize high-impactprocess improvement initiatives across logistics operations.
• Communicate effectively across all levels of the business from front-line personnel to executive leadershiptailoring communications to fit audience needs and drive buy-in across the organization.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Candidates must be enrolled in a Co-op program at anaccredited school majoring in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, ConstructionManagement, or a related degree.
  • Candidates must complete at least two full-time, alternating Co-op rotations before graduation and should avoid a fullcourseload while working, which may delay graduation.
• 1st Rotation: Spring 2027
• 2nd Rotation: Fall 2027

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and detail focused.
• Productive in fast-paced environments withstrong multitasking skills.
• Able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, andmanage workload efficiently.
• Effective communicator across diverseteams, including PMs, drafting, field staff,and fabrication shops.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidates who can work three or more full-time semesters.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORTS

• Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office environment.

• No or limited exposure to physical risk; occasional jobsite visits may require climbing permanent and temporary stairs/ladders, passenger use of hoists, and navigating active construction areas.

• Light physical effort handling average weight objects up to 50 pounds may be required occasionally.
