McKenney's Inc. is seeking a Cooperative (Co-op) student to join the Logistics and Manufacturing groups from day one, with training and meaningful tasks tied to project success.

You'll learn to negotiate with subcontractors, research supply chain alternatives, and perform data analytics to identify trends. High-performing Co-ops may lead a process-improvement project from ideation to implementation under the Logistics Manager, continuing a tradition of leadership development at McKenney's.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Co-op program at an accredited school in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Construction Management, or a related degree.
• Must complete at least two full-time, alternating Co-op rotations before graduation.
• Strong initiative, teamwork, and effective communication across multiple stakeholders.

• Support Project Managers and Foremen in developing procurement and delivery strategies and ensuring timely movement of materials.
• Apply LEAN principles to understand current processes and minimize waste.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Co-op, you will be part of the team from day one and given training and tasks that are important and impactfulto our projects' success.
Success in this role depends on the Co-op's initiative and teamwork skills. A successful Co-op will learn how tonegotiate contracts with subcontractors, research supply chain alternatives, and perform data analytics to analyzetrends.
Top achieving Co-ops will have the opportunity to manage a new process improvement project from ideageneration to final implementation under the guidance of the Logistics Manager.
McKenney's has a long history of success in hiring Co-ops and supporting their evolution into industry leaders. Many
of our current senior leaders began their journey in the Co-op program.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate in a team environment under the guidance of leaders in the Logistics and Manufacturing Groups.
• Support Project Managers and Foremen in developing innovative procurement and delivery strategies, ensuring timely and accurate movement of materials from shops, vendors, and warehouses to job sites.
• Work with our Shop Superintendents to understand current processes and identify and minimize waste byapplying LEAN principles.
• Leverage historical and real-time data to identify trends, inform decision-making, and prioritize high-impactprocess improvement initiatives across logistics operations.
• Communicate effectively across all levels of the business from front-line personnel to executive leadershiptailoring communications to fit audience needs and drive buy-in across the organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

• Candidates must be enrolled in a Co-op program at anaccredited school majoring in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, ConstructionManagement, or a related degree.
  * Candidates must complete at least two full-time, alternatingCo-op rotations before graduation and should avoid a fullcourseload while working, which may delay graduation.
• 1st Rotation: Spring 2027
• 2nd Rotation: Fall 2027

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and detail focused.
• Productive in fast-paced environments with strong multitasking skills.
• Able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage workload efficiently.
• Effective communicator across diverse teams, including PMs, drafting, field staff, and fabrication shops.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidates who can work three or more full-time semesters.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORTS

• Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office environment.

• No or limited exposure to physical risk; occasional jobsite visits may require climbing permanent and temporary stairs/ladders, passenger use of hoists, and navigating active construction areas.

• Light physical effort handling average weight objects up to 50 pounds may be required occasionally.
