St. Petersburg Country Club in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a Full-Time Spray Technician to join a Troon-managed property.

You will apply chemicals and fertilizers under supervision, keep detailed records, manage inventory, and calibrate equipment. The role supports daily course maintenance and may involve herbicide applications on all playing surfaces. The position offers a Monday–Thursday schedule with early hours, competitive pay ($20–$23/hour based on experience), and a benefits package

Qualifications

• Experience on a golf course is preferred but not required.
• A valid State issued Driver’s License.
• Meet all Federal and State employment eligibility guidelines.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Pesticide license is not required but preferred.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. The ideal candidate is someone that communicates well, is self-motivated, has a positive attitude, and is well organized. The Spray Technician is responsible for making all chemical and fertilizer applications under the guidance of Assistant superintendent and Superintendent. This will include detailed record keeping, inventory management, maintenance / calibration of spray and fertilizer application equipment. When there is no larger spray applications planned for the day, the ideal candidate will spend their day spot spraying selective or non-selective herbicides.

Pay Rate: $20 - $23 (based on experience)

This position coordinates with:

• Assistant Superintendent

Qualifications:

• Experience working on a golf course is preferred but not required.

• Must be able to lift and/or carry items that are at most 50 pounds.

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday 6am-2:30pm
• Friday 6am-11:30am
