Job summary

Esplanade Golf & Country Club Lakewood Ranch in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Full-Time Golf Course Maintenance Technician to join its grounds crew. The role entails performing grounds maintenance on greens, tees, fairways, and roughs, operating golf course equipment, edging bunkers, and preparing the course for daily play.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license and the physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather while contributing to a high-quality member and guest

• Safely operate motorized vehicles with standard transmissions.
• Use weed-eaters and blowers; edge, trim, and rake bunkers.
• Set cups and prepare the course for play.
• Plant trees and shrubs, maintain flower beds, weed control, and leaf removal.
• Fertilize, prune trees and shrubs, lay sod, and water as needed.
• Install and maintain sand bunkers.

Responsibilities:

• Performs ground maintenance tasks: mow greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.
• Safely operates motorized vehicles with standard transmissions.
• Operates weed-eaters and blowers.
• Edge, trims, and rakes bunkers.
• Has advanced experience setting cups and preparing course for play.
• Plants trees and shrubs, maintains flower beds, weed control, and leaf removal.
• Fertilizes, prunes trees and shrubs, cuts, rolls, lays, and waters sod.
• Installs and maintains sand bunkers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
