Job summary

CANPACK Group in Indiana seeks a skilled maintenance technician to ensure spray and necker machines run at peak efficiency under quality specs. You will assist with operation, perform maintenance and audits, and report progress.

The role requires basic repair abilities and strong attention to safety and quality. Ideal candidates have an engineering/technical background and 1–3 years of mechanic experience in manufacturing, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team to maintain

Qualifications

• Engineering or Technical degree preferred.
• 1-3 years' experience as a Mechanic in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
• Self-motivated with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate spray and/or necker equipment and maintain quality standards.
• Perform daily maintenance plans and audits of machines/housekeeping per maintenance plan.
• Perform and report technician-level repairs (basic repairs).
• Troubleshoot faulty equipment and assemblies; assist with repair of defective parts.
• Conduct routine quality checks at production stages.
• Perform other duties as reasonably assigned.
