Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Spot Weld Operator to set up and operate spot weld equipment on production lines. You will adjust weld parameters, prepare tooling, and ensure parts are loaded correctly in fixtures.

You will inspect weld quality using standard inspections, document results in the ERP system, and perform basic maintenance to keep welders running smoothly. A High School Diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate cranes, overhead hoists
• Ability to use quality inspection equipment
• Proficient and basic math and computer skills

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate spot weld machine and gun.
• Adjust welder settings and program machine.
• Load/unload parts in fixture and verify quality.
• Inspect welds and ensure first-piece quality.
• Enter part information in ERP system.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on weld equipment.
