The spot weld operator will change and file gun tips, adjust welder setting and push control buttons to program machine for job. Spot welder will position part in tip or load and unload part in fixture and activate welder. Operator will use grinder to remove excess weld beads. Operator will use specifications to accurately weld parts and verify product quality by inspection and measuring equipment.
