Job summary

Sweet Briar College in Virginia is seeking a student assistant to track and record official statistics for varsity teams in soccer, field hockey, softball and lacrosse, and to assist with game-day setup, teardown and operations for those sports.

You will help compile historical records for athletic record books, assist with planning and running events such as the annual awards ceremony, and help keep team social media accounts current and on trend.

Responsibilities

• Track and record official statistics for Sweet Briar’s varsity teams in soccer, field hockey, softball and lacrosse.
• Assist with game day set-up, tear down and operations before and after games for each of the sports listed above.
• Help compile historical records for the creation of the College’s athletic record books.
• Assist with the planning, organizing and running of athletic events such as the annual awards ceremony.
• Help run social media accounts for various teams.
