Job summary

Valley of the Sun J seeks a Sports Coordinator to oversee day-to-day operations of youth and adult programs and to support sports-related activities. You will ensure smooth operation, coordinate leagues, clinics, and lessons, and work with staff to deliver engaging programs.

Responsibilities include coaching participants, developing lesson plans, handling enrollments in the CRM, processing payments, and helping manage budgets.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; bachelor’s degree or 2 years in field preferred.
• CPR / First Aid certification may be provided by facility.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card may be provided by facility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee adult leagues (Basketball, Pickleball, Volleyball) and manage youth leagues.
• Teach sports classes, coach participants, and develop lesson plans.
• Administer leagues, clinics, tournaments, and lessons.
• Assist enrollments in CRM and maintain program records.
• Process payments with accounting and settle events/contractors.
• Ensure budget adherence to income/expense goals.
• Participate in agency events, possibly outside standard hours.
• Communicate effectively with children, staff, and members.
• Maintain safe, clean environment; uphold Valley of the Sun J policies.
