Valley of the Sun Jewish Community Center in Scottsdale seeks a Sports Coordinator to oversee day-to-day operations of youth and adult programs and support the sports department. This role emphasizes program support, organization, and direct involvement in leagues, clinics, and lessons.

The position requires experience in sports administration, the ability to manage enrollments in a CRM, process payments with accounting, and ensure budgeting goals are met.

Formación

• High school Diploma.
• Bachelor’s degree or minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar field.
• CPR / First Aid certification (Certification may be provided by facility).
• Fingerprint Clearance Card (Certification may be provided by facility).

Responsabilidades

• Manage adult leagues (Basketball, Pickleball, Volleyball).
• Manage youth leagues (Basketball, Pickleball, Volleyball).
• Teach sports classes, coach participants, and develop lesson plans for skill development.
• Serve as an administrator for leagues, clinics, tournaments, and lessons.
• Assist enrollments in CRM system and maintain organized records of programs.
• Process all payments with accounting to settle events and contractors.
• Ensure the department budget is met per income/expense goals.
• Participate in agency-wide activities and events, including outside hours when needed.
• Communicate effectively with children, administrators, coworkers, and members.
• Lift at least 40 pounds and stand for long periods, with occasional bending/kneeling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
• Follow Valley of the Sun J philosophies and guidelines.
