About the Role

This executive position is responsible for the scientific development and implementation of all performance-enhancing programs, including strength and conditioning, sports science, nutrition, and injury prevention. The Director will lead a multidisciplinary team of specialists, ensuring seamless integration of services to optimize athlete potential and achieve competitive success. Requirements

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics, or a related high-performance field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sports performance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within an elite sporting organization or national governing body.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing performance programs that have led to measurable improvements.
• Expertise in strength and conditioning, sports physiology, nutrition, and injury management.
• Exceptional leadership, team management, and strategic planning skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and proficiency with performance data analysis tools and software.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing budgets and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• A deep understanding of the Leisure & Sports ecosystem and the demands of elite competition.
