Job summary

Excelsia Injury Care is seeking a physician (MD/DO) to oversee diagnosis and treatment of occupational injuries, and to guide patients back to work after illness or injury. The role requires board certification in Interventional Pain, PM&R, Internal Medicine, Sports Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or Neurology.

The ideal candidate will maintain a favorable malpractice history, hold an unrestricted license in Missouri, and possess BLS/ACLS and a DEA license.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• BC/BE in Interventional Pain, PM&R, Internal Medicine, Sports Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or Neurology.
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state work will be performed.
• Favorable malpractice history.
• Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• DEA license.

• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury.

Minimum Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited educational institution
• BC/BE in Interventional Pain, PM&R, Internal Medicine, Sports Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or Neurology
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state work will be performed

• Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• DEA license

• Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction

Physical/Mental Requirements

Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting max. of 20 lbs.
