Excelsia Injury Care seeks a physician to oversee diagnosis and treatment of injuries, guiding patients from evaluation through recovery. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care and collaboration with a broad care network.

Candidates must hold an MD/DO, be board-certified in relevant specialties, and hold or qualify for licensure and DEA. Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential.

Formación

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school is required.
• Board certification in Interventional Pain, PM&R, Orthopedic Surgery, Neurology, or Sports Medicine is preferred.
• Unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of employment.
• DEA license is required.
• BLS/ACLS certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries.
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury.
• Recommend tests to determine injury extent and appropriate treatment.
• Uphold the company’s ESG goals through patient care leadership.
• Mentor and supervise staff as needed.
• Ensure excellent communication with patients and healthcare teams.

The compensation range for this position is $200-250 per hour commensurate with experience.

Job Duties

• Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries.
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
• Recommend tests to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment
• Uphold the company’s mission to provide exceptional patient care and leads in a way that aligns with the company’s ESG goals
• Other duties as assigned
• MD/DO from an accredited educational institution
• BC/BE in Interventional Pain, PM&R, Orthopedic Surgery, Neurology, or Sports Medicine
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state work will be performed
• Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• DEA license
• Ability to effectively interact with doctors, patients, and co-workers
• Tact and skill in patient management
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to mentor and supervise staff
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Medicine – Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures
• Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing
• customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction

Physical/Mental Requirements

Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting max. of 20 lbs.
