Excelsia Injury Care in Missouri is recruiting a physician to oversee diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries, and to prepare patients for return to work. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care within a supportive, ESG-conscious organization.

Requirements include MD/DO, BC/BE in Interventional Pain, PM&R, Internal Medicine, Sports Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery or Neurology, unrestricted state license, BLS/ACLS, and a DEA license.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited educational institution.
• Board certification (or eligibility) in Interventional Pain, PM&R, Internal Medicine, Sports Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery or Neurology.
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of work.
• BLS/ACLS certification and DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries.
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury.
• Recommend tests to determine extent of injury and appropriate treatment.
• Uphold the company’s mission to provide exceptional patient care and ESG goals.

Job Duties

• Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries.
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
• Recommend tests to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment

• MD/DO from an accredited educational institution
• BC/BE in Interventional Pain, PM&R, Internal Medicine, Sports Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or Neurology
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state work will be performed
• Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• DEA license
• Ability to effectively interact with doctors, patients, and co-workers

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Medicine – Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures
• Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing
• customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction

Physical/Mental Requirements

Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting max. of 20 lbs.
