Job summary

Acuity Inc. is seeking a Sports Lighting Sales Support & Operations Specialist to coordinate across sales, design, quotations, project management and operations. This hybrid role may be based anywhere in the United States with some travel.

You will support strategic sales and customer engagement, manage the sales pipeline, and drive scalable, repeatable processes across teams to ensure a superior customer experience throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical degree; 3–5 years in commercial lighting or related field.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; ability to learn new software.
• Strong technical aptitude to learn lighting products and services.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; timely judgment.
• Capable of consulting stakeholders before decisions.
• Customer-focused and proactive in driving opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support growth and expansion of Sports Lighting through sales and customer support initiatives.
• Coordinate pre- and post-sales activities across multiple teams.
• Act as liaison between sellers, agents, contractors and customers for clear communication.
• Contribute to best practices, training resources and operational tools.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows.
• Support customer outreach and demand-generation campaigns.
• Drive accountability and follow-up on opportunities and commitments.
• Assist in managing and advancing the sales pipeline.
