Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods House of Sport in Minnesota is seeking store teammates who are passionate about helping customers and delivering an exceptional shopping experience. You will greet shoppers, learn their needs, and support their journey through product knowledge and friendly service.

You will uphold merchandising standards, participate in loyalty programs, and follow safety and loss-prevention policies while creating an inclusive, welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with a ladder or platform.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours).

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage, price changes and replenishment standards.
• Promote company programs (loyalty, warranty sales, private label enrollment, etc.).
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention and SOP policies; maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome, safe, and respected.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
