Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two years related experience preferred.
• Experience in sports field/turf management is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate parks sports fields year-round.
• Prepare fields for practices and games.
• Mow grass, trim shrubs, plant trees, and maintain landscaped areas as directed.
• Repair and paint park structures and equipment; assist in road and building repairs.
• Perform janitorial/custodial tasks and litter removal.
• Respond to weather events and assist in emergency operations as needed.
