Job summary
Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Sports Facility Manager to lead a high-energy sports facility and drive teams, revenue, and guest experiences. The role emphasizes developing staff, managing operations, and ensuring exceptional service during evenings and weekends.
You will recruit, train, and coach team members while supporting memberships, leagues, and local partnerships to fuel growth and guest satisfaction. Opportunities for advancement to General Manager are available.
Qualifications
- Leadership or supervisory experience in sports, retail, hospitality, recreation, fitness, or operations preferred.
- Sales or customer service experience required.
- Must be comfortable working evenings, weekends, and peak business hours.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Spanish/English bilingual ability is a plus.
- Team sports, recreation, fitness, or sports facility experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and develop facility team members.
- Support revenue growth through league registration, memberships, and local partnerships.
- Assist daily sports facility operations: scheduling, payroll, inventory, safety, maintenance, and facility standards.
- Deliver a great guest experience by greeting players, resolving issues, and making guests feel valued.
- Jump in wherever needed: player check-in, referee support, customer service, schedule adjustments.
- Track progress and prepare for promotion to General Manager.
