Monarch Casino Resort Spa - Black Hawk in Colorado is seeking a Sports Book Ticket Writer to join our premier gaming and hospitality team. The role pays $22.00 per hour and requires strong cash handling, guest service and English communication skills.

As part of a family-owned resort, you will help maintain a welcoming sports book area, balance cash drawers, and support colleagues while upholding confidentiality and compliance with gaming regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain/hold Colorado Gaming License.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Excellent cash-handling skills – balance cash drawer daily.
• Greet guests in a friendly, positive manner.
• Ensure Sports Book area is presentable to the public at all times.
• Be a team player and assist where needed to deliver great guest experiences.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures; maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient with 10-key and basic computer knowledge; assist with audits.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

• This position is expected to have;
• Excellent cash-handling skills – able to balance cash drawer on a daily basis
• Friendly/outgoing personality – able to greet all guests in a positive manner
• Appearance/Attendance – ready/able to work at start of scheduled shift, dressed in appropriate attire. Ensure Sports Book is presentable to the public at all times.
• Team player – willing to help out when/where needed to ensure the best possible product/experience for all guests.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures – exceed the company standard.
