Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a PRN Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for Providence Medical Center—Kansas City, KS (Sporting KC). You will provide emergency medical response during Sporting KC soccer events and work with on-site medical teams to implement event-specific emergency management protocols.

The position requires at least 1 year of EMT or Paramedic experience, current state license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (or related experience) required for new hires.
• Basic EMT Training or E.R. experience required.
• Current and valid state license.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical response and care during Sporting KC soccer events.
• Conduct assessments of patients' conditions to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Deliver prompt first-aid interventions and utilize medical equipment effectively.
• Collaborate with on-site medical teams, security, and emergency services.
• Implement emergency management protocols tailored for sporting events.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records and reports.
