Saint Luke's is seeking dedicated EMTs to serve as Sporting KC Line Staff, providing on-site medical coverage during Sporting Kansas City events. You will respond to incidents, staff first-aid stations, and deliver BLS care under clinical protocols, while ensuring exceptional guest experience.

The role emphasizes patient assessment, triage, rapid decision-making, and collaboration with nurses, physicians, security, and emergency responders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current EMT certification is required or preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in emergency medical services, event medicine, urgent care, or emergency settings preferred.
• Strong assessment and patient care skills essential.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsabilités

• Provide on-site Basic Life Support (BLS) care at events.
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity.
• Deliver emergency care using approved non-invasive procedures and protocols.
• Staff first-aid stations throughout the venue.
• Respond to medical incidents involving guests, staff, and participants.
• Coordinate with nurses, physicians, security, and local EMS as needed.
• Assist with clinical procedures while maintaining aseptic technique.
• Determine need for transportation to an appropriate healthcare facility.
• Maintain knowledge of anatomy, physiology, EMS technology, and protocols.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and event staff.
