Saint Luke's Health System seeks dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians to serve as Sporting KC Line Staff, providing on-site medical coverage at events. EMTs deliver BLS care, triage, and patient assessment under clinical protocols while ensuring a high standard of guest safety.

This PRN role offers fast-paced, public-facing work supporting event operations, collaborating with nurses, physicians, and security to manage medical incidents and transport when needed.

Competenze

• Current EMT certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in emergency medical services or event medicine preferred.
• Strong assessment and patient care skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies.

Mansioni

• Provide Basic Life Support and pre-hospital care.
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients by acuity.
• Deliver emergency care per approved protocols.
• Staff first-aid stations at the venue.
• Respond to medical incidents involving guests and staff.
• Support care under supervision of a nurse or physician.
• Assist with aseptic procedures when applicable.
• Determine need for transport to a facility.
• Maintain knowledge of anatomy and emergency protocols.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and responders.
• Contribute to a safe event experience for attendees.
