Job summary

SCHEELS Sports Park at Legacy Pointe in Springfield, IL is seeking an Operations Team Member to help run daily activities across game floors, turf and courts, ensuring equipment is ready and games start on time. This role emphasizes safety, guest satisfaction and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

You will greet guests, deliver friendly service, assist with events, coordinate programming, and support other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in Sports/Recreation.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Experience operating an electric scoreboard.
• Experience coaching or mentoring athletes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is available and play areas are set up.
• Start games on time and score accurately.
• Monitor turf and courts.
• Greet guests and provide directions and information.
• Assist with programming and events coordination.
• Report incidents to management.
• Operate scoreboard during games.
