Job summary

City of Billings is seeking energetic individuals for Tournament & Event Concessions/Cashier roles. You’ll handle orders, process payments, and maintain a welcoming concession area during sports events and public usage hours.

Part-time, weekend/evening schedule with flexible hours, 15–30 hours weekly. Experience in retail or food service is helpful, but not required; prior cash handling is valued.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum age requirements.
• Ability to count change quickly and accurately.
• Strong verbal communication skills with diverse guests.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak events.
• Retail, cash handling or food service experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting and carrying boxes and beverage crates.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take accurate food and beverage orders, and enter them into the POS system.
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately while balancing cash drawer.
• Assist with basic food prep.
• Stock concession stands, coolers, and condiment stations before, during, and after events.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace complying with food safety regulations.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly with a friendly attitude.
