Job summary

City of Billings is seeking a part-time scorekeeper for Parks, Recreation and Public Lands programs. You will provide scorekeeping support during select activities, operate timing devices, and maintain score sheets.

Requires familiarity with basketball rules and ability to interact professionally with players, coaches, officials, and fans. Must be at least 16 years old, with seasonal evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with basketball rules and bylaws preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate scoreboard and/or timing device for designated sport.
• Perform routine clerical and technical work keeping score sheets and/or time clock.
• Communicate with managers, players, officials, and fans.
• Set up, tear down, clean up, and security of facilities.
• Other duties as assigned.
