Job summary

TEGNA is seeking a Project Manager, Sponsorships to own the operational backbone of our network-wide sponsorship business. You will collaborate with sales, creative, production, and CPMs across markets to build sponsorship materials, coordinate fulfillment, and keep processes current and efficient.

This highly cross-functional role requires strong communication, exceptional PowerPoint skills, and experience coordinating multiple sponsorships from package build through delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in project management, broadcast or media operations, sales support, or marketing operations.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate across sales, creative, and production teams.
• Strong PowerPoint skills to produce polished, sales-ready materials.

Responsibilities

• Partner with marketing and sales leadership to build and refine sponsorship packages, including names, tiers, and deliverables
• Serve as the coordination point between stations and CPMs on cross-market and multi-deliverable sponsorships
• Define and organize scope, timelines, and deliverable requirements, and communicate clearly to the relevant CPMs and station teams
• Track and route the deliverables needed to fulfill larger sponsorship commitments, and flag risks or gaps early
• Maintain a clear view of active vs retired sponsorship packages and archive completed packages in Box
