Job description

Looking for an experience, collaborative, and highly organized Sponsorship Program Manager to join our Global Events team. In this role, you serve as the central program manager for Oracle’s sponsorship programs—owning sponsorship go-to-market readiness, enabling partner managers and sales teams, and leading operational delivery from pre-event planning through onsite execution and post-event reporting. While this role is primarily focused on program operations and enablement, you may occasionally support or participate in the coordination of sponsorship sales based on event needs. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Oracle’s global sponsorship programs, partnering with some of the largest technology companies while delivering high-profile events that reach thousands of customers and partners.

This position is primarily focused on leading sponsorship operations across Oracle's flagship industry events, owning the sponsorship workstream for two to three events each calendar year. You'll also have opportunities to support sponsorship initiatives across Oracle's broader corporate event portfolio. This is a full-time contractor position (40 hours/week) expected to run through May 31, 2027, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead sponsorship go-to-market operations including package and inventory setup, ordering workflows, contract template coordination, reporting, and internal enablement to support efficient selling.
  • Develop sponsorship offerings and materials by creating the prospectus and custom proposals for top sponsors; define levels, pricing, inventory, value proposition, and design requirements in partnership with internal teams.
  • Own sponsorship forecasting, revenue tracking, and budget management including revenue and cost modeling, pacing against event revenue goals, and post-event financial reporting.
  • Identify new sponsorship opportunities and strategies to maximize partner engagement and sponsor ROI.
  • Lead sponsor fulfillment and participation across key areas including expo space, content, registration, web, communications, signage, meeting space, and sponsor communications.
  • Build and manage the Exhibitor Resource Center (ERC) to guide sponsors through the planning process and improve sponsor readiness.
  • Serve as onsite lead for sponsorship operations including sponsor desk coverage, issue escalation, and governance of sponsor move-in/move-out.
  • Ensure seamless cross-functional communication between sponsors, vendors, and internal teams pre-, during, and post-event.
  • Host sponsor support programming such as office hours, support calls, and Know-Before-You-Go presentations.
  • Measure and improve sponsor satisfaction through feedback collection, post-event surveys, and continuous improvement plans.
  • Drive innovation and efficiency by refining event operations and building repeatable, scalable processes and playbooks for sponsorship planning, budgeting, and execution.
  • Maintain Oracle Global Events quality standards by contributing to experiences that are bold, creative, engaging, and consistently well-executed.
Success metrics
  • Sponsor satisfaction (e.g., survey results and qualitative feedback)
  • Operational accuracy and fulfillment quality
  • Budget accuracy and adherence
What success looks like after 90 days
  • Become proficient with Oracle sponsorship processes and tools.
  • Successfully launch sponsorship sales readiness for assigned events.
  • Build strong working relationships with partner managers, event teams, and key vendors.
  • Own sponsor fulfillment planning for at least one major event.
What we’re looking for
  • 5+ years of experience spanning event management and sponsorship in an enterprise software, B2B SaaS, or technology company.
  • Experience with an Exhibitor Resource Center (ERC) is required; knowledge of RainFocus is a plus.
  • Strategic, operationally strong thinker with the ability to master existing processes and improve them.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on delivering sponsor ROI and excellent sponsor experiences.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration with the ability to lead and influence across teams.
  • Impeccable attention to detail across all aspects of the event and sponsor experience.
  • Strong partner advocacy and the ability to articulate the value of the ecosystem internally and externally.
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating internal and external marketing content.
  • Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or similar) is a plus.
