Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting required.
  • Minimum two years of related experience required.
  • Experience managing multiple activities/projects, including financial aspects, required.
  • Experience in financial forecasting required.
  • Experience with grant preparation required.
  • Experience with clinical trials preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary liaison with program area administrators and PIs on preaward aspects.
  • Assist with grant proposal preparation and budget construction.
  • Facilitate submission of Just-in-Time information with PI and program finance manager.
  • Prepare, review, file, and enter grants and subcontracts into the Fibi system and track status.
  • Update PI Other Support after proposal submissions.
  • Initiate internal award setup in Fibi after award.
  • Maintain knowledge of policies for Sponsored Projects administration.
  • Support SOP development and updates with the Assistant Director.
  • Perform keyword-driven searches in PIVOT for funding opportunities.
  • Provide ad hoc research administration support as needed.
