The role oversees submission quality, budgeting, and compliance while mentoring a team of pre-award professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, business, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of pre-award grant management experience.
• Expertise in NIH systems, budgeting, subawards, and MPI grants.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-award grant activities for Federal, State, and foundation funding.
• Manage timelines, communications, and submission quality for proposals.
• Prepare budgets, justifications, letters of support, and related documents.
• Mentor and develop the pre-award team; drive standards and training.
• Coordinate with PIs, Post-Award, and sponsors to ensure compliance.
