Job summary

The Salvation Army in Spokane is seeking a mission-driven Regional Director of Development to lead the CRD Department across the Spokane region, building donor relations, marketing initiatives, and fundraising strategies to grow support for programs in the Spokane Metro Area. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in communications, business, or related field; CFRE preferred.
Seven+ years of development team management experience including supervisory responsibilities.
Proven success in fundraising leadership and donor stewardship.
Strong written and verbal communication with ability to engage diverse audiences.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, databases, websites, and social media platforms.
Willingness to travel with valid Washington State driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction and accountability for Spokane CRD staff and donor programs.
Lead fundraising strategies, campaigns, and donor portfolio growth.
Oversee marketing, communications, events, and grant submissions.
Develop and implement annual CRD plan aligned with divisional goals.
Build relationships with executives, donors, and community partners.
