• Organizes media coverage and writes articles and releases to communicate the Salvation Army's activities.
• Develops brochures, annual reports and newsletters for donors and media.
• Maintains donor records and coordinates with sponsors and advisory boards.
• Plans and sustains an aggressive community relations and development plan with foundations, corporate donors and United Way.
• Coordinates volunteers and oversees events and campaigns.
• Represents the organization to media and public during disasters and community events.
