The University of Washington's MEDEX Northwest in Spokane invites applications for a part-time Teaching Professor position (0.8–1.0 FTE) to join the Family Medicine PA program, with a 12-month, non-tenure track appointment beginning in 2027. Qualifications

• Masters’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Physician Assistant Studies or related field.
• Completion of an accredited PA program.
• Eligible for PA licensure in the state of assigned campus.
• Current NCCPA certification or equivalent and two years of clinical experience.
• Teaching experience of six months in either a classroom or clinical setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop syllabi, lectures, exams, and student assessment instruments.
• Deliver course instruction including lecturing and facilitation of other learning activities.
• Chairing or Co-chairing at least one course.
• Academic advising of students.
• Developing and nurturing clinical sites and preceptors.
• Admissions activities, application review, programmatic activities.
