Job summary

JASPER Engines & Transmissions, a leader in re-manufactured engines and transmissions, seeks an Outside Sales Representative to cultivate business in the Spokane, WA territory. The role targets independent repair facilities, local fleets, and government entities, with a focus on building long-term relationships and expanding the customer base.

The candidate should be in the territory with automotive knowledge, a hunter mentality, and self-motivation.

Qualifications

• Degree or two-plus years of sales experience.
• Hunter sales mentality.
• Self-motivated and driven.
• Automotive background/knowledge.
• Integrity and honesty.

Responsibilities

• Use a proven selling system with supportive marketing material.
• Develop and implement plans to capitalize on all sales opportunities in territory.
• Sell to independent repair facilities, local fleets, government entities, marinas, and national accounts.
• Perform needs assessments and develop sales proposals and presentations.
• Collaborate with inside sales, customer service, production, and distribution teams.
• Plan and manage accounts and introduce new products and updates.
• Build long-term, value-based relationships with customers.
• Focus on prospecting to grow the business.
