Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced leader to head Self-Perform Operations (SPO) and supervise hourly trade staff on our Augusta projects. You will drive operational excellence, promote safety, and align SPO activities with BU goals, ensuring strong collaboration with construction leadership and client teams.

You will develop and execute annual plans, oversee risk and financial controls, and mentor SPO staff to build high-performing teams across Turner’s projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction or equivalent with 10+ years of building construction experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction and SPO unit scopes.
• Proven leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in risk, contract negotiations, and financial oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead Self-Perform Operations (SPO) and hourly trade staff.
• Integrate EH&S Building LIFE principles within SPO to strive for zero incidents.
• Develop SPO business and contingency plans aligned with BU strategy.
• Oversee Profit Plan and evaluation processes with GM guidance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, ethics, and company policies across SPO.
• Bridge SPO with BU Preconstruction to leverage opportunities on prime projects.
• Promote One Turner philosophy and collaborate across departments.
• Lead career development, performance evaluations, and succession planning.
