Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a seasoned leader to head Self-Perform Operations (SPO) for our Augusta projects. You will drive operational excellence, safety, budgeting, and team development across SPO and hourly trade staff.

You will partner with BU leadership to develop and execute plans, implement risk controls, promote a One Turner culture, and ensure alignment with client goals and project delivery standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field required; 10+ years of building construction experience preferred.
• Proven leadership of self-perform operations (SPO) and hourly trades.
• Strong planning, budgeting, and risk-management capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to develop teams and mentors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Self-Perform Operations (SPO) unit and staff.
• Promote EH&S Building LIFE principles within SPO to strive for zero incidents.
• Develop SPO business and contingency plans aligned with BU goals.
• Oversee financial reporting, contract negotiations, and pricing decisions.
• Collaborate across BU to maximize opportunities for SPO on prime projects.
