Job summary

Epic Systems Corporation is seeking a Splunk Engineer to optimize and maintain our cloud installation and expand use cases across IT operations, Security, R&D, and BI. The role requires relocation to the Madison, WI area with company-supported relocation assistance.

You'll work with Cribl, GitLab, Ansible and Terraform to configure and improve the Splunk platform, delivering scalable data insights to healthcare teams nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Experience or interest in Splunk administration; Cribl a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts; GitLab experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts; Ansible and Terraform are a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Optimize and maintain Epic's Splunk cloud installation.
• Identify and implement new and impactful Splunk use cases.
• Collaborate with IT operations, Security, R&D and BI teams.
• Support multiple business units with data-driven insights.
