Qualifications

• Must meet staff qualifications as Facility Directors designee per AZ Administrative Code.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years old and provide documentation of one of the listed education/experience options.
• Options include high school diploma plus 12 months child care experience and 3 credit hours in early childhood, or 30 hours of training in early childhood or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pre-K/Preschool teacher with daily classroom operation.
• Supervise staff and children for Kids Club or Early Bird programs.
• Ensure compliance with Arizona Health Services rules and regulations.
• Maintain good rapport with students, staff and community.
• Keep the teacher and coordinators informed of activities and needs.
• Order supplies and maintain site inventory.
• Maintain behavior standards aligned with district policy.
• Complete required training hours annually (18+ hours).
• Other duties as assigned.
