Job summary

Alphatec Spine is seeking a Specialist in Market Development for Robotics & Intraoperative Technologies to deliver clinical service, training, and implementation of the Valence Robotic Navigation System across assigned geographies. The role requires close collaboration with marketing, sales leadership, surgeons, and hospital staff to drive adoption and ensure patient-safe outcomes.

The position involves hands-on demonstrations, on-site setup, training, and ongoing support, with extensive travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a clinical/science concentration or business, marketing or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of successful sales and/or account management experience in spine or orthopedics; sales, market development, navigation/robotics and operating room experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform demonstrations, installations, and ongoing case support of spinal procedures using Valence robotic navigation system.
• Train surgeon and clinical teams, and mentor local support teams.
• Ensure proper system setup and calibration.
• Assist surgical teams during procedures and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide remote support and field-based trainings to employees, Sales Agent representatives, and surgeons.
