Job summary

Yale New Haven Health System is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a dynamic Neurosurgery Spine Service across Stamford, Trumbull, and Greenwich. You will balance ambulatory clinic care with operating room responsibilities, collaborating with an experienced neurosurgical team to deliver exceptional spine care.

New graduates are welcome, CT licensure is required, and prior spine-related APP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Eligible for Connecticut licensure and certification
• New graduates welcome to apply
• Prior APP experience in neurosurgery/spine preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, triage, and therapeutic management in ambulatory clinic and OR.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and resources.
• Document thoroughly in EMR and comply with hospital policies.
• Maintain high professional standards and participate in quality initiatives.
• Support ongoing professional development and clinical education for staff.
