Job summary

Yale New Haven Health System is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with a strong interest in Stroke and Neurosciences to join our Adams Neuroscience Center. This combined inpatient/outpatient role offers care across the stroke patient journey, with four 10-hour shifts per week and no overnight or on-call duties.

Ideal candidates include new grads and experienced APPs in Stroke, Neurology, Neuro-ICU, or related high-acuity settings.

Qualifications

• PA or NP with interest in Stroke and Neurosciences.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.
• Experienced APPs with backgrounds in Stroke/Neurology/Neuro-ICU encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and manage stroke/neuroscience patients as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care with no overnight or on-call coverage.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate care transitions.
• Document thoroughly and follow clinical pathways.
• Support professional development and quality improvement efforts.
