Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an internal medicine physician to provide consultative and primary care services to the Spinal Cord Injury Service at the VA North Texas Health Care System. The role involves inpatient and outpatient care for Veterans with SCI/D and requires strong interdisciplinary collaboration.

Preferred candidates will have PM&R residency, SCI fellowship, and experience in acute or subacute rehab settings, with a current unrestricted license in the United States.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an approved school
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in US
• Completion of PM&R residency program
• Completion of SCI fellowship (preferred)
• Experience with SCI population and rehabilitation settings

Responsibilities

• Admit and manage inpatient and outpatient care for SCI patients
• Provide consultative and primary care services to SCI Service
• Supervise interdisciplinary team and participate in program activities
