Job summary

NBSTSA is seeking a Staff Physician in the Spinal Cord Injury/Disorders Service (SCI/D) to provide clinical care, supervise residents, and participate in education and quality initiatives at the VA facility in the United States. The role emphasizes patient care, education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications include Doctor of Medicine, full, unrestricted US license, ABMS board certification or eligibility, and successful completion of residency in an approved program.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Current full, unrestricted medical license in the United States
• Completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited residency and board certification or eligibility
• English language proficiency as required by VA policy

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for SCI/D in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Supervise resident physicians and participate in teaching
• Engage in performance improvement and research as appropriate
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
