Job summary

The Brickle Group is seeking a Machine Operator I in Spinning to train on a Spinning Frame and produce high-quality products safely and efficiently. This role emphasizes quality, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

The Operator will follow standard procedures to produce high quality products in a timely manner and will document results. Based in McAdenville, NC, this 2nd shift position (2pm - 10:15pm) offers hourly pay between $18.78 and $22.54 with opportunities to learn and grow

Qualifications

Ability to operate machines in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Basic math skills.
Flexibility to work overtime as requested.
Dependability and punctuality a must.

Responsibilities

Follow all safety rules, including Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures and use of Personal Protective Equipment including hearing protection.
Learns to operate 1 Spinning Frame.
Learns to keep the machine in good working condition by properly cleaning.
Learns to keep the work area neat and organized according to 5S Standards.
Works with Supervisor to understand all machine adjustments that have a direct impact on quality and runnability.
Complete work within expected time frame of production job.
Learns to understand basics of all components of the machines they have been trained on.
Learns to collect and record data and ask questions of Supervisor if unsure of instructions.
Communicate daily with Supervisor regarding any issues or concerns and provide status updates to all shifts.
Identify quality issues both incoming to the operation and created by the operation.
