Job summary

The Brickle Group in Maine is seeking a Machine Operator I for its spinning operation on the 2nd shift. You will be trained to run a spinning frame, focusing on quality, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement, following standard procedures to produce high quality products and document results.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules including Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures and use of PPE.
• Learn to operate 1 Spinning Frame.
• Keep the machine in good working condition through proper cleaning.
• Maintain 5S standards in the work area.
• Understand machine adjustments that affect quality and runnability.
• Complete work within production timelines.
• Learn basic components of the machines.
• Record data and consult Supervisor when unsure.
• Communicate daily with Supervisor and provide status updates.
• Identify quality issues incoming to and created by the operation.
