Job summary

Spicewalla, a chef-driven spice company located in Asheville, NC, is seeking a Warehouse Manager. This hands-on leadership role oversees inventory management, shipping and receiving, and fulfillment operations to ensure orders are fulfilled quickly, accurately, and safely.

The ideal candidate will develop efficient systems, conduct quarterly counts, coordinate couriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx), mentor the team, and uphold SOPs and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a warehouse or fulfillment team in a CPG environment.
• Strong organizational and written/oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with inventory management, Excel, and logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory management and optimize storage and stock levels.
• Lead fulfillment across multiple sales channels and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate shipping/receiving with couriers and freight providers; manage related KPIs.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and training materials for warehouse operations.
• Foster a safe, productive work environment and mentor staff.
