Job summary

The Spice House, Chicago, IL is seeking a Sales Team Leader to guide our Spice Merchant team at the flagship store. You will drive sales, coach staff, and ensure exceptional customer service, while maintaining store standards and optimizing in-store experiences.

You will report to the General Manager and play a key role in growing the brand through excellent product knowledge, teamwork, and operational discipline. This is a full-time hourly role with quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years retail experience or related.
• Experience leading a team and driving sales growth.
• Proficient with computers and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales performance and increase transactions and average order value.
• Lead and mentor the Spice Merchant team to meet KPI goals.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and tailor product recommendations.
• Demonstrate positive leadership and culture to motivate the team.
• Use sales data and trends to make data-driven decisions.
• Support store operations, inventory management, and POS execution.
• Maintain a visually appealing, well-stocked sales floor.
