Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree in lab/science is preferred.
• Experience in spices, seasonings, or food manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English is required.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Ability to taste and smell spices accurately for quality control.
• Proficient with computers and completing documentation.
• Stand and walk for the entire shift; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in a noisy, dusty environment with spices and high heat intensity.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform at least 3 room inspections per shift.
• Accurately weigh oils and verify batch card details.
• Confirm correct ingredients and weights on batch cards.
• Count and record total packaged units per batch.
• Monitor and document in-process and finished product quality checks.
• Enforce company food safety and sanitation policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
