Job summary

Litehouse Inc. in Lowell, MI is hiring a Spice Prep I to support our production team. The role involves precise ingredient prep, following recipes, and using FEFO practices to manage inventory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing or food production, especially with ingredient prep.
• A strong understanding of food safety practices (GMP, PPE, etc.).
• Dependability, attention to detail, and a willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and prepare ingredients with accuracy, following recipes and production schedules.
• Track and handle ingredients using FEFO (First Expired, First Out) practices.
• Partner with shift coordinators to align on daily production goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.
• Complete in-process quality checks and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Communicate equipment or quality issues to supervisors promptly.
• Be flexible with scheduling-overtime and weekend availability may be required.
