The Marzetti Company is seeking a Spice Mixer for 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 4:00pm–4:00am) in a climate controlled facility. You will mix sauces and dressings by combining liquid and granular ingredients, and operate mixing equipment, pumps, mills, and valves to meet production schedules.

You may also weigh ingredients, read scales, perform quick arithmetic, and provide product samples to the lab as required, while maintaining safety, GMP, and teamwork with other departments.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to obtain industrial truck certification and comply with OSHA standards.
• Ability to read & interpret written and verbal directions in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and strong communication are required.

Mansioni

• Operate mixing equipment, pumps, mills and valves to produce sauces and dressings.
• Weigh ingredients for the mixing process.
• Record information as required and maintain production schedules.
• Coordinate with prior/next shifts and assist other departments when needed.
• Maintain GMP and safety standards and monitor equipment for malfunctions.
