Job summary

The Marzetti Company is seeking a Spice Mixer for the 2nd shift (Monday–Thursday, 4:00pm–4:00am) in Kentucky. You will mix liquid and granular ingredients to produce sauces and dressings, operate mixing equipment, and support quality and production schedules.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, ability to read and interpret directions, basic math and mechanical aptitude, and the ability to obtain an industrial truck and lift certification.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and math skills are required.
• Ability to read and interpret written and verbal direction in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Operate mixing equipment, pumps, mills and valves to combine ingredients as per recipe.
• Weigh ingredients and prepare batches according to schedule and specifications.
• Read scales, perform arithmetic calculations, and adjust controls as needed.
• Monitor equipment, report malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance.
• Maintain safe production quantities and housekeeping per procedures.
